Dr. G. Wendell New office construction into new base building, Spruce Grove, Alberta. 2579 square feet of new second floor office space, this is a general practitioners office with five operatories total. Currently one doctor and room for future associate. The floor plan shows two hygiene op's on the one side and three on the other, the op's in this office are all 10'x12' with a minimum 4'-6" corridor width. The dental cabinetry is a combination of islands and doctors and assistants side support cabinetry with the instrumentation and delivery systems at the twelve o'clock position via-vi cart and umbilical. All intra-oral x-ray heads are island mounted. The pan x-ray and film processing area is located further forward in the office plan so you don't have to bring a patient through the entire office to get to the x-ray area. The sterilization area is a 16'-0" "L" shaped work station plenty of room to handle the busy traffic on a daily basis along with it a separate 4'-6"x8'-0" walk in sundry storage area close by. In adjacent close proximity is the lab area for regular pour ups and model trimming. This office has a large staff lounge area, plenty of room for those staff meetings, staff lockers, full size fridge, microwave and dishwasher lunch prep area and additional walk in sundry/ bulk storage area. The doctors private office is huge, large enough for two doctors to share and or conduct seminars with colleagues without a problem. It also has a separate wardrobe closet, vanity and lavatory. The reception waiting area along with the filing system and business office is designed to accommodate with the future associate in mind. Lots of room for two ladies at the reception desk with three separate work stations, signing of insurance forms, booking the next appointment without any congestion what so ever. A beautiful long curving maple and walnut reception desk with custom bulkhead above greets you as you walk in the door. The patient waiting area seats twelve to fourteen easily with a large children's play station &video area. The main feature in the front area of this office is the four sided custom glass central fireplace and wall unit flat screen TV panel. A very warm cozy and calming environment for the patients. This office was built in seven weeks. |
